For many different cultures throughout Asia and the Pacific, the Lunar new year ushers in a fresh start; it symbolizes a time to re-energize and re-strategize, bringing in new blessings and good fortune.
As an official Nā Mamo event, our mission in producing the San Antonio Asian New Year Festival is to share our city's diverse Asian culture, heritage and traditions in celebrating the lunar new year to the community through music, dance, arts and crafts, and cuisine.
